"To Know Him, To Know Our Hope, To Know His Power" - Ephesians 1:17-23
We live in a culture that is hungry for spiritual life and power. God has given us that hunger, and He alone is able to satisfy it. He speaks to us through the Bible and tells us what we need to know to live full and significant lives, as well as to give us hope for the future.
We
hope you will look through our web site and get to know us. But
more importantly, we hope you will join us this Sunday to worship
Jesus together, delighting in our Savior and His love for us. For
our Sunday Worship times click the Sunday
Worship link to your left.

Sunday Morning Worship
We are committed to focusing our worship on God, who wholly deserves
that worship. God calls us to worship Him together as a body.
We gather together to learn more of Him from His Word, and to
proclaim His praise and our love for Him. Our worship is a God-centered
blend of traditional and contemporary styles. The sermons you
will hear preached at CPC are a combination of Biblical truths
and their applications to our lives. Want to hear a sermon on MP3? Just click on the "Sermons" link to your left.
Sunday Morning Classes
Spiritual growth at CPC takes place in a variety of settings. We offer
Sunday morning classes to teach
the truths of how to live in Christ. These classes are focused
on helping us to grow to spiritual maturity. Sample topics include:
Come and See (How do I come to Christ?); Spiritual Foundations
(Living my new life in Christ); Spiritual Gifts (How to identify,
develop, and use them); Conflict Resolution (How does the gospel
bring interpersonal peace); and several others including classes for men, women and young couples.
On top of this, we offer a number of classes dealing with various
topics such as parenting, Islam, prayer, parables, etc.
Seminars and Special Events
Our weekend seminars allow us to focus more concentrated time
on particular aspects of our spiritual growth. Past seminars we've
offered include: Pursuing Purity in a Sex-Saturated Society,
Marriage by Grace, The Gospel and the Heart,
Spiritual Foundations, Mind Over Media, and
The Gospel and God's Gift of Sexuality. Check out the "upcoming
seminars"link for the latest topics and dates.
Cell and Small Group Communities
We recognize that our Christian life is best lived in community.
The Bible teaches in many places using many examples that we are
not alone. The church (the collection of those who believe in
Jesus) is described as a body, as a city, as a house. We are united
to each other through our relationship with Jesus and with God
the Father. This understanding leads us to offer everyone at CPC
an opportunity to belong to a smaller, more intimate community.
We call these "cells" because they are the basic building
block of the church body. These are 8 to 15 people who meet regularly
for worship, study, and fellowship. We hope you will not only
join us for worship on Sunday, but also will visit a cell and
experience life and growth in intimate community.
