We recognize that our Christian life is best lived in community.
The Bible teaches in many places using many examples that we are
not alone. The church (the collection of those who believe in Jesus)
is described as a body, as a city, as a house. We are united to
each other through our relationship with Jesus and with God the
Father. This understanding leads us to offer everyone at CPC an
opportunity to belong to a smaller, more intimate community. We
call these "cells" because they are the basic building
block of the church body. These are 8 to 15 people who meet regularly
for worship, study, and fellowship. We hope you will not only join
us for worship on Sunday, but also will visit a cell and experience
life and growth in intimate community.
