Currently CPC worships in the multipurpose room / gym. Plans are
in the works to build a Worship
Sanctuary which will be much more conducive to worship
and other formal events.
In the meantime, a significant group of men and women are serving
the Lord Jesus Christ in a very practical way. They configure the
multipurpose room for Worship and Middle Hour Class, they usher
during the service, and then they put everything back in the store
room so other ministries can use the room during the week. Many
of us don't often think about their faithful service, because everything
is set up when we show up on Sunday. Think, for a moment, what it
would be like to show up for worship, and find an empty room. Praise
God for these faithful men and women!
Two crews serve each Sunday. The early service crew sets things
up, and the late service crew is responsible for take down and Lord's
Supper ushering and take down on the first Sunday of each month.
Each crew consists of about 5 persons who are put on an every 4th
week rotation. A captain serves as one who takes responsibility
for all aspects of the crew. A detailed description of the duties
of the Usher and Setup/Takedown crews may be found in the Usher/Setup/Takedown
Procedures Manual.
If
you are looking for a very practical way to serve the Lord Jesus
Christ, please contact Joe Loiacono at

There is room for you in this group of faithful servants. We will
train and the benefits are eternal! We have a strong need for second
service volunteers!
Teens, college age are welcome!
