During Sunday worship and middle hour classes the video projector is used to project words to songs, scripture readings, sermon aids, etc. The PowerPoint file is created by the CPC Office Adminstration staff for the Worship Leader and loaded onto a laptop devoted to worship and teaching projection. A hard copy of the file is printed out by the office staff and provided to the projectionist each Sunday.

A small group of volunteers supports our worship and teaching times by serving as projectionist. We try to maintain a team of volunteers which enables each person to serve once a month. We have both adults, and responsible teenagers serving.

The duties of the projectionist include arriving about 30 minutes early (first service) to set up the laptop and review the order of worship and the printout. The projectionist may have to talk to the Worship Leader or Preacher to clarify any questions he or she may have about the slides. The second service projectionist is responsible for shutting down the laptop, disconnecting it, putting it in the carrying case, and storing it in the office. Training is provided.
