Sunday School Classes for Children

We have Sunday School Classes for children of all ages. Sunday School is held between the worship services from 10:00 to 10:45 AM.

Sunday Morning Classes for Adults

We offer Sunday morning classes to teach the truths of how to live in Christ. These classes are focused on helping us to grow to spiritual maturity. Sample topics include: Come and See (How do I come to Christ?); Spiritual Foundations (Living my new life in Christ); Spiritual Gifts (How to identify, develop, and use them); Conflict Resolution (How does the gospel bring interpersonal peace); and several other regular classes. On top of this, we offer a number of classes dealing with various topics such as parenting, Islam, prayer, parables, etc.

We have Middle Hour Classes for high schoolers and adults between the worship services on Sundays from 10:00 to 10:45 AM. Below is a list of classes that are currently being offered.

Sermon Questions and Answers
Preacher “Du Jour”                                                                         Room: AC-05
This middle hour class is a general review of the sermon led by the morning’s preacher.  Come and dig a little deeper into the meaning and gospel application of the message.

Discovering CPCcoffee                                                                          Room: AC-06
Teachers: Rick Belliveau, Larry Clifford
This class introduces CPC to those who are interested in church membership.  It will cover our history, our distinctives, and our vision for the future.  Sign up by noting it on your welcome slip or by calling the church office.

Reformed Theology
Teacher: Bill Sciannella                                                  Room: MC-Prayer Room
In this interactive, discussion oriented class we will look at the commonalities and distinctives of our reformed faith.  It will be a class for both beginners and veterans of the faith.  We will look at the history, significance, and life applications of all the major doctrines which came out of what we commonly call the Reformation.

Intentional Christianity
Teacher: Steve Green, Jon Vandenheuvel                                     Room: MC-Gym
The focus of our class is learning what it means to daily be an instrument of God ’s peace in a broken and hurting world.  The class is designed around lessons from the book Instruments in the Redeemer’s Hands by Paul David Tripp with supporting ideas from the inspirational Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi.

Women’s Class ~ Bible Study Methods

We are doing a "hands-on" Bible Study using a method that has been helpful to others on the books of Philippians and Colossians led by a variety of women.  Women of all different levels of familiarity with the Bible are welcomed!

Young Marrieds

What if God designed marriage to make us holy more than to make us happy? This semester, we will look at how we can use the challenges, joys, struggles, and celebrations of marriage to draw closer to God and to grow in Christian character.

Merge - Young Professionals and Adults
Teachers: Sandy Sharp, Jaime Cruz                                                Room: AC-04
WWJL: Come and join other post-college and young professionals as we fellowship and look at the Word of God together through a course based on The Jesus I Never Knew.  Each class will begin with appropriate (or inappropriate!) video clips from movies portraying particular aspects of Jesus' life.

PRAXIS ~ College and Young Singles

Mission: The PRAXIS group for college and college-age students will ask the hard questions, embrace healthy skepticism, eat donuts, understand how to meet with God in His word, investigate culture, figure out our calling, hang out, pray, save the cheerleader, save the world.

Revolution ~ High School
